Dear Neighbors,

I originally posted the article below because I felt it was a reasonable
request.

Perhaps ten or fifteen years ago, something to this effect would not have
been called for, but as more and more people do not understand the meaning
of public decorum and society, (that is your individual rights do not extend
beyond your home if they affect the general welfare), perhaps it is time.

Dogs can be unpredictable for many reasons and I feel one should not have to
wait until someone has been maimed or worse on record, before a victim or
their family can seek restitution.

Many people feel that training dogs is nearly as bad as training kids, but
that's another topic.

Since people seem to be increasingly unaware of the difference between home
and away or themselves and society, unfortunately many more laws like these
may be proposed in future even though it would seem ridiculous or burdensome
to those of us who are law abiding or home trained.
