Last fall we asked for recommendations for services to strip doors by a dipping method. Jonathan Cass was kind enough to recommend the following:

Well, we got our doors stripped last week and had an awesome experience that I wanted to share with those of you interested in some restoration work.
For starters, Cindy was a very pleasant individual to deal with. I called her the Thursday before Easter, April 8th (it turns out that they were closed that friday). She scheduled the pick up for the following monday, april 12th with expected delivery that friday, april 16th. To make the story short, the doors were back on wednesday, april 14th, TWO DAYS EARLY!!!!! They charged $75 per door and all they required is that the doors be taken out of the frame. They recommended that we send hinges and doorknobs attached so that they could get stripped as well.
We were very pleased with the work and are very excited about the prospect of restaining these doors. We had planned to just paint them again, but the doors came out so good that we will try restaining first.
