To the list:

Decided to give the Caf Clave across from CVS on Locust a try today.
It never looked particularly appealing from the outside, so I had not
Previously been tempted to go in and sample the fare. Today I was
Caught in a downpour, and I needed a place to wait for the rain to
Let up. Lucky me, to have had the chance to discover a neat cafe.

Based on my experience, I recommend it strongly for anyone bummed out
By our dark and stormy weather and hankering for a taste of Havana or
A jolt of java in a Caribbean atmosphere. Given the number of neighbors
Of various ages who were hanging out in the cafe, others clearly find it a comfortable
place to sit and socialize over coffee and/or snacks.

I would not say the dcor rates highly, but it was amusing in a left-of-center way,
and the Cuban music that they were playing was energizing and fun. (Not excessively
loud, for which I was grateful.) The service was prompt and cheerful.

I had a skim milk cappuccino, and it was excellent. Much better than
The counterparts at some competitors, who shall remain nameless.

Want a change of pace? Give it a try.
