Aren't these the same guys who want to take away our guns?
I don't know Glickman's politics. Some Hollywood people are liberal (e.g., Asner) and some are conservative (e.g., Schwarzenegger). I assume some want to make as much money as they can from their careers/products. Some may favor higher taxes, especially on the wealthy, in order to redistribute income or provide more social services. They presumably will pay taxes on the income they make, at least to the extent other people in the same tax bracket pay them. Maybe liberals are happy about paying them, while conservatives are unhappy, but do you really want to use your time to attack people for being happy about spending their own money on taxes?
What escaped me is the logic of jumping to liberals becoming neocons or the relationship of guns to the U.S. Tax Code. A conservative position on this listserv is a useful balance, but a rant is just, well, a rant.
