My good friends use Cavalier for phone/internet/long distance, and if
their experience has been any indication, stay FAR FAR AWAY from
Cavalier. I can't think of a single positive experience they've had,
from trying to schedule someone to come out to do the install (and
getting them to actually show up) to customer service woes for weeks
at a time to service outages to horrendously slow DSL speeds... total
disaster. I won't detail all of the horror stories here, and
certainly every carrier has its own problems, but I've been thoroughly
unimpressed with Cavalier's desire to retain its customers. They just
don't seem to care.
