Grrrrr. This morning, I placed our recycling out for pickup. I specifically set all the recycling (mixed paper, cans, glass & newsprint) about ten feet from the trash.
To make sure that the mixed paper wasn't confused with trash, I put all the newspapers on top of the bundle of mixed paper. The trashmen took the mixed paper and tossed it in the trash. I was walking out as they removed the newspaper, trashed the paper and put the newspaper back. I said to them, "Excuse me, isn't mixed paper recycled?" They responded, "Yeah, but that looked like trash." Grrrr. The mixed paper is the hardest stuff to cull and store.
