Title: Re: [UC] NAHD: Portable heaters
I’m partial to the ceramic heaters. I’ve had a little one for a few years. It cranks out a lot of heat safely and, when I accidentally threw a piece of fabric over it one night, it didn’t catch on fire. It just go to hot and tripped off. Plus, if it gets knocked over, it will trip off, too. The case doesn’t get too hot either. I think I paid about $30. I’ve seen them at Home Despot for about $40. No noticeable increase in the electricity bill either. I use it just about every morning in the winter to heat up the bathroom before getting in the shower.

We are looking into some supplementary area heaters, and I just wondered if anyone has had any luck with them or some experience with one type or brand over another?  I get the impression that they have approved in energy efficiency, output and safety.  I would appreciate any help.

Thanks,
