Although, and we've been discussing this very recently, there does _seem_ to be a huge increase in crime lately. I don't think we ever determined if it was only the fact that we know more about it now because of the list, or if there is actually more crime. I, for one, would like to see more aggressive crime reporting by the police. If there actually _is_ a wave of crime, I'd like to be forwarned and forearmed and all that. (I'm also bothered that "shot in the face" turned into simply "robbery" in the police blotter). As long as the article is based on factual crime statistics, I think it's a good thing.
