No! If it's a CRT monitor, it has a few pounds of lead in it. If it's a newer LCD monitor, it has mercury in it. Either way, if it winds up in a landfill, it's bad news. > Recycling? Many (most?) so-called recycling companies actually just ship the dangerous parts of the monitor over to Guiyu, China or some other place where we can hide our e-waste.
