Hmmm, The prices seemed rather high to me, too, particularly since it's a condo, and you have to pay maintenance plus mortgage, plus you have to abide by the condo owners association rules. It seems that, for this neighborhood, the high price outweighs the cost of convenience factors. Is Penn expecting a bunch of new medical school hires to move into these units? Certainly an "efficiency" for $270,000 is excessive - that's Manhattan pricing.
What do the rest of you think? Are these maybe "asking" prices, to be lowered once real buyers come along?? sj ---- Original message ---- >Date: Tue, 15 Mar 2005 23:26:34 -0500 >From: L a s e r B e a m  <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Re: [UC] 4200 pine, pricing >To: [email protected] > >Matthew Snyder wrote: > >> I just got a flyer from Penn announcing pre-sales of the condos at >> 4200 Pine, including a link to the project's website: >> >> http://www.4200pine.com >> >> I had to laugh when I looked at the prices.
