Amen. And yes, I mistook Bruce's comments to be general, forgetting that the topic at hand was computing in _schools_. I'm still ambivalent about computers in school, but being a computer guy myself, I'm not sure I'm totally against it. Then again, I've never had 25 young 'uns to teach and take turns on the computer, so I'm not sure how difficult it is to manage computer time. Perhaps a separate computer lab where each class has X amount of time during the day all scheduled ahead of time. That way the computers always get used but aren't distractingly in the classroom the rest of the time.
