I'd like to see a restaurant with an outdoor patio in the triangle on 45th and Baltimore.  My husband and I used to eat at a little neighborhood restaurant in Switzerland called the Schlossgarten that would fit perfectly in that space.  The outdoor area was enclosed with vines growing on trellises that served to buffer the noise.  It was a perfect hang out place for after work or sports.  It felt somewhat like a German beer garden, but without the songs.  The Swiss are fairly reserved after all.   Oh the memories.....

RE: [UC] Abbraccio and Dahlak

All of my friends love dahlak, I tend to favor Abbysinna for ethopian food, it's closer and it's never crowded. I find dahlak overwhelmingly smokey, though I think I went to every single Final Friday art show that they had in the downstairs area -- I thought it was a great club with great atmosphere -- the bar in the back doesn't do anything for me. I'd like to see more outdoor seating at both places.  In fact, I'd like to see an outdoor bar at abbraccio during the summer -- just like hawaii.

It's probably because I don't live across the street from either of them that I'm hip to all this outdoor activity.

I for one would like to see more outdoor seating for Abbraccio.
