Christmas trees will be collected with rubbish. Citizens should set trees
out on rubbish collection day at their scheduled collection site.
Citizens who wish to drop off their tree may take it to one of the following
Streets Department Sanitation Convenience Centers.
Sanitation Convenience Centers are open 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, from Monday
through Saturday.

I called the Streets Department because the website doesn't say what they are
going to do with the trees. I was told that 63rd Street is the only
location from which the trees will be recycled. Apparently all other drop-off
sites are just gathering locations before they landfill the trees with the
garbage.
