I will say thought that on the three occasions that I got tickets from the streets dept three months after the date of the "offense" I would certainly have appreciated a notification from UCD (or anyone else) the day after the ticket was written that I was going to be cited for something that happened yesterday -- so I'd know if they were right or not. I'd call it a service. And if they bothered to tell the streets dept that someone was dumping trash on my street on a regular basis, I'd appreciate that too -- since there are people on my block regularly dumping trash and the Streets Department doesn't seem to know anything about it. kc
