Given how frequently people ask for recommendations for services, contractors, etc. I don't think anyone would have a problem with a posting about outstandling good service from a small business. There's a VERY wide line between that, and a posting promoting one's own business, which has been frowned upon.

Rie and I had a great experience this a.m. with a small business in Philadelphia. I'd love to just shout it out, since it's such an unusual experience for us. But is that something that's allowed on this listserv? It's not as if the business asked me to promote them. and no, they're not in West Philly, but were referred to us by West Philly people who said there was no local equivalent. Thoughts? Thanks.
