Since e-link Wireless is not for me, (too many trees around here)-- I'm looking at a Verizon High-Speed Internet service offer. The promo is that it's only 14.99 if you sign up for 1 year.

Being suspicious, I called and pried more details from them!

Yes, it's 14.99/month for a 1-year contact, but around 10-12 months in--they send you a quote of what your rate will go up to. They call it a "contract fee"
(And they said they have no way of knowing what it will be? )

If you don't like it, you do not sign up for another year, and the service is now 37.99/month.

Or, to terminate entirely, it's $79.

And the modem costs around $50.....

Has anyone had experience with them?

How's the Tech Support? (I heard 1 nightmare story)

They say they have software that will automatically forwards your old email to your new address.

Input, please?
