Frank, just quit writing posts in which you attack the work of volunteer
neighbors who tackle public-planning tasks you are not willing to tackle
yourself. It is one thing to offer suggestions to improve their
judgements, which "public input" is supposed to do. It is another thing
to criticize these volunteers for failing to read your mind while they
work, and for failing to agree that yours is the only opinion that matters.
In committee work, many voices are heard and the final outcome rarely
reflects the view of any one person. That's the view of a volunteer who
sits INSIDE a committee. You stand outside a committee and refuse to sit
on it. Yet you want to criticize it for failing to do what it should
have done, if you had deigned to lead
said committee down a path of righteousness only you know.
But you aren't on this committee, Frank. Neither am I. I'm not the boss
and I respect the patient, tedious, unglamorous labors of my neighbors
who serve on this committee. Humility is an important virtue.
How about you? What do you think about your neighbors who care enough to
have been working on this problem for months and years?

You are the guy who always demands more info on Lussenhop, Grossbach,
etc., etc. It's always about banging somebody else's business with
you, is it not?
I'm not into that. I'm not into banging your business or Lussenhop's
business or Grossbach's business. That's how we differ in public. In
private, you might be a friendly and fascinating guy without a mean
bone in your body, and I might be a skunk. But on UC-list, you're
always complain complain complain. Why? Do you have a non-complaining
life? If so, could you share it with us once in a while?
Why don't you just ease off on your neighbors? Must you always gripe
about them? Can we not have a minute of peace and respect for each
other on this listserve?
