That depends...most new printers come with only a small amount of toner, so 
you'd still need to buy more. I don't know about the drum.
 
I always thought that the companies should just give away the machines since 
they have us over a barrel with the  toner.

Recently I looked at prices to replace the ink cartridges on our laser printer 
and realized it would be cheaper to buy a new printer than to replace the 4

     I go to the Staples at 23rd & Oregon next to Home Depot for cartridges.  
It's a lot closer.
