This has not generally been true of laser printers. I guess they're
cheap enough to manufacture now, though.
There is an Cartridge World store at 1509 Chestnut St.

In general, printers are loss-leaders, especially at the low end of
the price range. It's the consumables that bring in the profits.

Recently I looked at prices to replace the ink cartridges on our
laser printer and realized it would be cheaper to buy a new printer
than to replace the 4 cartridges and drum. Does that make any sense?

Hi,
I go to the Staples at 23rd & Oregon next to Home Depot for
cartridges. It's a lot closer.

Where does anyone go to get ink cartridges for their printer?
Anywhere around here, or must I drive down to Staples on Columbus
Blvd.?
(I've been doing that for years, but I'm thinking maybe some new
place opened up that I don't know about...)
