Neighbors, I reported to the list that on May 6th, a municipal court judge agreed to refer the problem of bogus trash tickets and enforcement shenanigans to the President Judge for review. I asked the judge for an investigation of the entire flawed/corrupt process. And of course, my tickets that exemplified the lack of due process were thrown out.
On Friday, I returned to the district refreshed from a brief time in a democratic country. And there it was; a new letter from the infamous Department of Finance. Of course, I first assumed that the "working relationship" between UCD and the SWEEPS harassment staff had pulled out the enemy's list to come after me anew. But let's face it, what could be more intimidating than a new round of bogus tickets from Commissioner Williams? On May 9th, three days after municipal court dismissed the tickets against me, the Department of Adjudication sent the letter to inform me that it was ordering me to start the process over for the same tickets. They have now assigned me a date of June 8th to defend before their adjudicators those same tickets with the same threat to refer these to municipal court yet again. New tickets, which I expect but haven't received to date, would have intimidated me by showing that the corrupt power behind these tickets will be used to harass me until I leave the district. But what intimidation does the continuing loss of basic rights send to me? As I await a new round of tickets to punish me for exposing the UCD protection of massive trash violations by their board, I must face the realization that the intimidation will be so overwhelming that I will not be allowed to live in peace anywhere in the city of Philadelphia. I may have had hope if it was new tickets designed to keep wasting my time, but I now must face the fact that nothing is going to stop the building harassment including a court order. Now I have to devote my time and life to looking to federal authorities for the most basic justice. I'm so tired! Glenn
