The list reads like a who's who of the Campus Inn supporters. Co-chair Tom
Lussenhop, Dan DeRitis, Lindsay Johnston, Barry Grossbach, UCHS.
Why would this gang of Penn real estate cronies/monopolists replace the
School board and real experts to draw a specialized catchment district? (I
worked with one member of the GSE faculty listed. That is not where the
ethical problems emerge)
This list exemplifies a little understood process in the growing Penn
plutocracy which is replacing city government. It is the embedding of
"friendlies" at all levels of city government. For years, Penn has been
placing its operatives throughout the city government. (A political hack
admitted this to me years ago)
Just like this list shows, the placements of these characters has nothing to
do with any expertise in the subject area. This type of embedding is
happening throughout the government not to help with expertise but to demand
the Penn agenda.
I wonder what Lindsay, Danny, Tommy and Barry think about the drop off in
reading proficiency for poor kids in early elementary. Hahaha! Hahaha!
Should we be laughing or crying when we see this list of education experts?

The reason Woodland Terrace is included is because I wrote a letter to
the
school district and asked them to include it. Lauren Leatherbarrow

If you want something, ASK.
If you are against something, PROTEST
Speak up, vote, contribute, as Lauren does, and maybe... at the end of
the day, home will be a place to be proud of.
yes, lauren leatherbarrow was even on the planning committee of the
penn-assisted school back in '98:

perhaps we shall hear whether lauren wrote a letter to the philadelphia
city planning commission on behalf of woodland terrace (or shca, or uchs
for that matter) to protest the proposed hotel at 40th and pine?
