Each week after America’s Best Dance Crew, representatives from Season One’s top teams will be making the call on who’s got staying power. JabbaWockeeZ’ Ben “B-TEK” Chung sounds off here: My top 2 crew picks based on this week’s performances are Super Cr3w and Phresh Select. I personally think Super Cr3w took the show this week. Their “ninja” set was nothing less than engaging from beginning to end. From their slick entrance on to the stage to their acrobatic stunts throughout the performance, Super Cr3w’s show had me glued to my TV set. I love how they showcased their B-boy skills and still kept it funky by lockin’ to James Brown. Phresh Select caught me by surprise. I didn’t really know what to expect with this crew, especially with their song selection of Boyz II Men. However, I loved how they brought back the 90’s party dances. They definitely captured the essence of the 90’s party grooves through their energy, and you can tell they were just having fun. I had a lot of fun watching them, not to mention their show was very clean as well. Can’t wait to see if these 2 crews continue to bring the heat next week! Kaba Modern’s Mike Song sounds off here: After watching Thursday’s show, my top two picks would have to be Super Cr3w and Phresh Select. Phresh Select definitely came hard with great energy and they executed their hat tricks perfectly. Super Cr3w blew me away though. Super Cr3w’s overall performance was super creative and I really liked how they kept their ninja theme consistent. Props to all of the teams!
