This NY Times report epitomizes Wall Sts. control over both political parties! It’s a must read. Many people can’t understand why their leaders are constantly preaching “centrism” when the democrats have a super majority and a mandate from the people.
When you look at the year of policy failures, which aren’t properly covered by the media; democrats and republicans have both been steadily obeying Wall Sts policy demands! It’s very “centrist” and bipartisan; this screwing of the people! The republicans are the party which, since Reagan, has been the outspoken keeper of the mythology that corporate rule is divine. But the boldness and openness of Corporate’s retaliation against the democrats should frighten those who still hope for democracy and human rights in the US. As the party leaders dance and pretend, Corporate is the puppet master keeping the people misinformed, ignorant and distracted. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/08/us/politics/08lobby.html?scp=2&sq=02/08/10&st=cse Corporate media manipulates people with constant fake journalism and “expert opinion” because they serve the same cartel of elites, who run the largest international corporations. Please read these carefully. This excellent exposition of lobbyists presented as “experts” is reported in The Nation http://www.thenation.com/doc/20100301/jones >From the Times: "Just two years after Mr. Obama helped his party pull in >record Wall Street contributions — $89 million from the securities and >investment business, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive >Politics — some of his biggest supporters, like Mr. Dimon, have become the >industry’s chief lobbyists against his regulatory agenda. Republicans are rushing to capitalize on what they call Wall Street’s “buyer’s remorse” with the Democrats. And industry executives and lobbyists are warning Democrats that if Mr. Obama keeps attacking Wall Street “fat cats,” they may fight back by withholding their cash." ---- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to the list named "UnivCity."
