Dear Neighbors, A recent, (and rare because of its societal goals), letter from the Pope is directed to all Catholics but also to Leaders and anyone with concern about the Global Economy and the impact upon and effectiveness of individuals. Details of a local presentation are shown below. I have enjoyed and felt moved by every event of attended at the Assumption Convent. The format is usually a half hour presentation, a few minutes of informed comment, 10-15 minutes of questions, and some tea and cookies before good-byes are said. Usually the nuns sweep us gently out before 9 PM. I will not miss this meeting and hope others will be open to the experience of meeting with neighbors and the Sisters of the Assumption inside their lovely convent home at 1001 S. 47th and 7:30 PM tonight.
