The Friends of Clark Park invites the West Philadelphia community to attend our slightly-before-spring Membership Meeting!
Come and learn the latest details about the Department of recreation's $450,000 project to repair and revitalize the North Park (between Baltimore and Chester Avenues)! We've been telling you about it for years, gathering your input, receiving your praise, showing you the plans, and this Spring or Summer is when ground will be broken. This will have a substantial impact on the park, its users, and the major events planned for the spring and summer of 2010. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, March 10, and will be held in Griffith Hall at USP. If you need to renew your membership, this meeting'll be a fine place to do it.
