Brian admits: "This will have a substantial impact on the park, its users, and the major events planned for the spring and summer of 2010. "
Brian, I didn't get to personally thank you for stating publicly, the wisest thing I ever heard you say; "Tony, cut the crap!" Man, that dude can really fling it, can't he!
Brian, I really hoped that you would turn out to be a whistle blower. But, I understand the allure of power even though I was never bullied as a kid.
Brian, your Friends of Clark Park have used every dirty trick in the plutocracy book to exclude the public and park stakeholders. You can't defend the actions of your closed secret unidentified master plan steering committee, that you are calling the FOCP planning committee. You can't defend demanding a poll tax from people and then allowing Mr. West to exclude them from any committee he pleases. The people know that it's a lie that anyone can observe your secret committees (see dog park committee in the public purple list archives)
Did you see President Chance's letter in the UC Review? Anyone who wanted to give feedback on the park redesign could privately give the FOCP leader (Mr. West) their views at the farmer's market-hahaha. (Remember, Melani's private secret poll for BID feedback-hahaha.) Mr. Chance didn't call Matt, the representative from volleyball in his letter; he tried a pathetic insinuation to pretend that matt was a representative from volleyball-hahaha. (Remember, we caught West and Chance before with this deception, and matt is honorable and won't claim to be a representative from volleyball-hahaha.) The truth is that you never invited park stakeholders to join park planning, you simply demanded $20 just for the hope of voicing individual opinions to Mr. West. It's not the right of FOCP leaders to choose representatives for other park groups! (You were targeted to represent the Clark Park Music and Arts community, all those years ago. They desparately tried to replace me several times, and they tried to recruit Angela, Cheshire, and Maits long before they recruited you!) Brian, the truth can't always be swept under the rug!
Brian, you FOCP leaders gave the finger to your members when you allowed Mr. West to silence me and ignore the members wishes for FOCP to be open, inviting, and inclusive. Brian, I didn't give the FOCP members the finger; your leadership did!!!! Your members told the gang to do any redesign planning the proper way! That is another fact!
Brian, confirm the truth about the last FOCP election tomorrow night. Stop the secret redesign plan from proceeding immediately, and have a public process the right way! I'll help. You could do a lot of good for this community and the concept of democratic processes, by doing the right thing! Any portions of the secret plan, which may be beneficial for this community, would stand up to community involvement and be supported by the community! It doesn't matter if you really believe the whole secret UCD viision is a good plan. The way FOCP has conducted secret exclusive back room deals must be defeated. But, I guess we all know that the whole secret, high maintenance, UCD/Penn vision will not be supported by this community or the people of Philadelphia.
Brian, please do the right thing tomorrow, and blow the damn whistle! Your honest words: "Tony, cut the crap" gave me hope!!!
Sincerely, Mr. Moyer
