Wow. It looks like a giant conveyor belt. They use those things in
industrial meat packing plants.
I think modern architecture is supposed to be boldly offensive. But I'm
a poet, not an architect.

Frank, don't you see all the texturing from the projecting masonry and
shake surfaces? I think it is the Victorian precursor to a "kinetic
ambient reflection membrane" that creates a "visually dynamic hull for
the facades" as they are stroked by the sun and clouds and come to
life as pedestrians and horse drawn carriages traverse the landscape.
