I was able to attend the last 3 days of the national gathering. It's a profoundly moving experience to gather with other citizens and patriots working to save humanity and our planet.
Kevin G. from Firedoglake broke the news that Mayor Nutter tried initially to cut off access to water by ordering the fire department not to allow water for the people during the extreme heat. The corporate media attempts to portray these outrageous tactics and mayors, as concerned about health and safety. Just like the ban on feeding the homeless. Only after Negrin's attempts to discredit the reporter were proven false, did they reverse the attack against the people's water. Before the brutal eviction at Occupy Boston last year, they tried the same thing. The Mayor and the media were bombarding the public with their concerns for safety and health. Our brothers and sisters brought in a portable sink to Dewey square to answer their nonsense. Of course, BPD immediately tried to ban and confiscate it. I hope people got a chance to view Dennis Trainor's film, American Autumn, that I sent. The impression the corporate media gives you about the beginning of the global movement, is a huge pile of lies and misdirections. Our brothers and sisters in Spain, Peru, Chile, and Quebec are leading the way. Come and join the living...
