Roundup is the herbicide used for many years in Clark Park. Here is a new article about some of the health dangers long reported about it.
Remember, you have no right to know about anything related to Clark Park, including "safe organic" chemicals deployed. I call the Clark Park model of privatization, the Outsourcing Type rather than the Deed Transfer type. (Dilworth plaza is also the Outsourcing Type popular with corporate controlled special service districts.) If you looked more deeply into the rodent studies around consumption of GMO corn, you saw the claims of safety based on absurdly inadequate testing. The industry standard tested rodents consuming GMO corn for only a small fraction of their total lifespan. Yet they screamed about too few controls(with a known rodent specie) in the first/pilot testing for life long consumption of GMO corn. That french study found significant increases in tumors and birth defects. (Such science would be like claiming that repeated sunburns of infants are safe because the samples didn't get skin cancer by age 9.
