Here is a good analysis of the fake progressive movement and think tank groups. People feel very empty inside when they fall for the deception of these fake and deceptive front groups. It breeds learned helplessness in good people, who would like to join together in grass roots movements to save humanity and the planet.
Training for Change is a Tides foundation group which destroyed our local movement to save the libraries. (I confronted their leaders at Occupy Philly and believe they were involved with its sabotage too.) Health Care For America Now was the fake health reform group that promoted Obamacare. And peace activists all remember how our movement was infiltrated in '07-'08 with the demand that we were now an elect Obama movement and needed to support the "good war." Instead of believing their nasty deceptions that "we are on the same side," citizens need to recognize that these sabotage groups are dedicated to co-opting any nascent grassroots movement as well as destroying principles of real democracy.
