This article about an aspect of childhood development references the destruction of public parks. I added a comment to the article based on my decade long fight against the local revanchist groups, which helped seize and privatize control of Clark Park, and eventually all Philadelphia parks. Immigrant, black, and working class parents will be especially interested in the implications of this report.

The seizure of Clark Park was a pilot project to test the implementation of domestic neoliberal practices in urban gentrification. The neoliberal agenda and empire has terrorized large parts of the planet for decades based on the drive for a brutal plutocratic dictatorship, and re-enslavement of the masses through monopoly capitalism. Any new residents on this list need to study the truth about the lies, which they are told in the marketing of their gentrified police state district, aka the University City District.
New residents need to know that the local upscale gentry is morally/ethically bankrupt. For more than a decade, I tried to open the eyes of the sleepwalking gentry and ameliorate the extreme civic illiteracy and historical amnesia, which guides their leaders hate filled greed, anger and fear. I completely failed and we are now past a point of no return.
For new residents with living brains, please consider voting for the only presidential candidate who brings any chance for hope, Jill Stein. But understand, whether you define our system of late stage monopoly capitalism as neoliberal economics or neofascism, unless the tyranicl police state is smashed and the system of death called capitalism is smashed, the human race will go extinct in the near future, as so many of our animal cousins have already. Any vote for the duopoly of death is simply a vote to expedite extinction and increases the horrific suffering of humans across the planet.
