Alex: not yet; it's been fixed upstream in Debian it'll be fixed by
syncing it from Debian.
One thing I'm unclear about; the version check appears only to be done
once (on first use) and then cached. When the fixed xaralx is upgraded
will it still "lock-out" the use of Imagickmagic. Does more hackery
need adding to get rid of the check altogether (to me it feels like it's
in the class of checks that are "too clever for their own good").
