The merge seems good: the only point that you should make better ins the
changelog:
- you should mentioned what changes are kept like this:
Merge from debian testing(LP: #485332), remaining changes:
- ...
- You also mentioned that you cleaned the debian/patches/series files, but it's
actually not true: you only added the patch to the list
- Do not mention that you changed the maintainer in debian/control
Otherwise, that's good :-)
