Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: banshee

I just tried to install banshee on my freshly installed KDE-based
Kubuntu 9.10. I was really wondering why after installing banshee via
aptitude I still could not play mp3-files.

So, after installing gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 (which is in universe),
it worked flawlessly. I would recommend that banshee should suggest or
recommend gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3.
