Hey! Now that school is winding down, I can take a look.
Last night I did run a test install on my gaming rig on the last
successful build of UCR, ~May 18th. I'm pretty sure the sound worked,
and I think if pipewire had been problematic, we would hear complaints
about it currently sitting in the 23.04 release.
I think the best thing to do is try to get Cinnamon 5.8x now that Debian
12 is out into unstable, and then into Mantic with the recommends fix
here.
