Thanks for taking the time to report this bug in efforts to improve
Ubuntu. Wine is a supported package, however steam is a third-party
application that allows the installation of games like Half-Life 2. This
issue that you are mentioning is already reported to Wine's bug tracker
here: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15124. If this doesn't
match your description exactly I would encourage you to report your
issues to the wine developers http://bugs.winehq.org/. This isn't really
a bug with wine itself. Thanks again for your time, and in the future
don't hesitate to report any of the issues you find.
