** Description changed: The Inkscape bug has already been reported here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/easytag/+bug/208079 But when using Compiz and running Evolution, if I open a new window (to have, say, Email and Calendar at the same time), the same thing happens to Evolution. To describe it in detail: When the window is maximized, if I click on the menu-bar, the window will jump up and down. This make clicking anything almost impossible, and the only way to unmaximize the window is by holding Alt and drag the window with the mouse. When unmaximized, there is no jumping. Before Hardy, I never experienced this bug. + + I have the same problem. I am new to Linux and have a new Dell mini. My + obsservation is that the bottom of the window falls outside the frame + created by the top and bottom panels. Not sure if this is relevant. Also + icon the mouse thinks it is clicking on is not the one it is hovering + over and highlighting, ie the highlighting of the buttons occurs + appropriately but the button clicked is misaligned
