Not sure about that one. I used samba transfert over wired network and
it worked fine even for big files. Of course flac files if that's what
you're using can be huge.

check the file permission that samba set on track 1. maybe it's set to
read only. I kind of remember being able to set a umask in samba.cnf to
specify the permission files are to be created with.
Or the file name has spaces and you need to either quote the name
rm "track1 blah song thingy.flac"
or escape the spaces
rm track1\ blah\ song\ thingy.flac
I usually use the "tab completion" to fill the name for me. It's
probably on on your server see if typing:
rm trac<tab> 
<tab> meaning press the tab key complete the file name for you.

If all fails su to root, there is no file root can't delete...
