Of course Mini-ITX Systems are expensive. Then again, this is the only possibility to get a system that runs on an external power supply with like 60W. Any µATX case with a >250W power supply will never be really silent. This and the form factor where the reasons for me to go for the mini-ITX solution. And indeed I'm very happy with it: after I exchanged the fan on my SP13000 with a 6cm Papst fan sitting on a fan adapter, it's really inaudible if you don't put your ear on the case.
