I appreciate your advice, but I really only want to run SlimServer on this box. I do understand that the Linkstation is capable of very much more, but at this time I don't really have the need for anything more. At some point, I may make the effort to learn alot more about Linux, and this would be a great project. But at this point, I would like to minimize the number of changes so that I can maximize the chances for success.
