After upgrading perl today, and perl-cleaning, a fortunate(!) fuse
blowing just caused me to have similar problems when restarting
SlimServer (I didn't look too closely, but it was something to do with
DBI).

Knowing that SlimServer has its own compiled versions of some Perl
modules I've re-run the "build-perl-modules.pl" script in the Bin
subdirectory of SlimServer, and that's sorted my problem out. Perhaps
it will do the same with yours?
