Virgin and Podcast do not use Mplayer. The GWR stations do use Mplayer. do an "ls -l mplayer" to see what are the permissions on the file and ensure it is executable. Did you build mplayer on the Linkstation or download a version ? If you downloaded it - are you sure it was for PPC ?
