Now that all this is installed I can probably just use svn to update
periodically? Although I note that the slimserver exacuteable (was
slimserver.pl in my mandrake install) is now over in /usr/sbin/ so using
SVN will not work?
That's correct - the package isn't related to SVN at all.
However, you should be able to apt-get update; apt-get install slimserver on
a daily basis to pull down the new version.
