I've recently started rescanning/tagging my music as FLAC, and have also upgraded to slimserver version 6.2.1, so it is very likely that one of these two things is to blame.
Are you still using your SliMP3? Do you experience the problem on both devices? How's your SB3 connected (wireless? what AP?)?
My question really is, what should I be looking at or doing to try and diagnose the problem?
Connect using a wired network. If this is working, you're having a wireless issue as so many before. Try updating to the latest 6.2.2 build which contains a firmware fixing some wireless issues.
