Setup: music library and slimserver 6.2.1 running on a Buffalo Linkstation running OpenLink firmware. A 'diverse' library with ALAC, non-DRM'd AAC, and some mp3 files.
I want to be able to play all these files. This thread mentions mplayer and faad2 as providing Linux decoders. Can anyone point a Linux n00b in the right direction to get these running on the Linkstation? Nothing posted on either package on the Linkstation forums.
