Mostly I'm wondering what's needed to make slim server run well on a large music library. I really wish it was written in, say, C++, not perl. It wouldn't be so extensible, but it would probably run beautifully on a low end PC104 board and Windows CE or Linux. I shouldn't be wondering if 256M and 800Ghz is going to be enough to get snappy response. -- ScottMayo ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ScottMayo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3605 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18586 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
