Here's another oh boy! But I'll try to keep it short and informative.
I'm running ubuntu with a recent version of the 6.5 nightly deb.
Yesterday I bought a 300GB HD and installed it and got it running. I
was using an external USB HD for my music library. I copied my library
over to the new drive and pointed slimserver to the new directory where
the music is and did a rescan.

Problem is, now I have 2 listing for every file. So if I play an
album, I get track 1, track 1; track 2, track 2;...etc. The first
track is not a valid track and appears to be a left over database
entry. I did a rescan, and even pointed slimserver to a empty
directory, yet the bad database entries are still there. Plus a rescan
takes forever.

Another piece of information, I tried, at one point, to install mysql,
but I don't think I ever really got it running cause I would always get
an error when trying to process one of the steps from here
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=80962&postcount=2 . The
specific step was this line: \.
/usr/local/slimserver/SQL/mysql/dbcreate.sql; . What the error was, I
don't exactly remember, but it didn't work. Plus my slimserver is at
/usr/share/... which might be where it's supposed to be for 6.5?
Anyway, any help here would be appreciated. If I did actually get
mysql working, is there an easy way to kill the database and start
again? Thanks!
