Thanks for the help. Sox installed. Lame wasn't, I have now installed "toolame", it's part of the debian archive, I didn't find lame as I think it has licence issues. http://packages.debian.org/stable/sound/toolame
I the put in a symbolic link from lame to toolame The Slimserver > File Types page, took the settings OK. I now have: Ogg Vorbis AIFF sox Ogg Vorbis FLAC sox/flac Ogg Vorbis MP3 oggdec/lame In my convert.conf I have tried the following settings: "ogg mp3 * * [oggdec] -Q -o - -R $FILE$ | [lame] --resample 44100 --silent -q $QUALITY$ --abr $BITRATE$ -r -x - -" "ogg mp3 * * [sox] -t ogg $FILE$ -t raw -r 44100 -c 2 -w -s - | [lame] --resample 44100 --silent -q $QUALITY$ --abr $BITRATE$ -r - -" Both without sucess. The log file is showing.. /usr/bin/lame: unrec option - SmpFrqIndex: 0 is not a legal sample rate Error writing to file: Broken pipe Any ideas what's going wrong? -- jamesho ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jamesho's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=847 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22922 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
