Hi All, I have a HG Linkstation and used the OpenLink firmware on it. I ran into the same problem that has been mentioned here before regarding Perl while trying to get SlimServer working according to the instructions on the fieldnetworks site. I saw bikerx's comment about downgrading his Perl to the one (5.8.5) offered on the fieldnetworks site. I sent him a private message but figured I'd ask here in case someone else had the same issue.
Do I need to do anything special besides installing the Perl from fieldnetworks according to the instructions there? Since there is a newer version of Perl already on the system to I need to take any additional steps in order to get 5.8.5 working properly, like deleting the old files? Yes I am new to Linux.
