Just a heads up to everyone that the Kurobox 'Standard' (aka 'basic') has been discontinued, and they have dropped the price of the Kurobox HG to 149 USD. They still haven't published specs for the new model (working title: Kuro III).
Like another poster here, I liked the idea of the open Kuro better than having to flash a LinkStation, but at the time the pricing on the LinkStation HG was much better than the Kuro, so I got the LS.
